We founded ZONKEY BOOT in early 2010 with the aim of creating high-end shoes for knowledgeable men. Men who appreciate style but are not willing to make compromises in terms of quality. First time on the market with the Spring-Summer 2011 collection, ZONKEY BOOT immediately found its way into some of the best men’s shops in several countries. Soon after we launched our brand’s website in December 2010, we received a lot of encouragement from our professional colleagues and retailers who showed an interest in our work. But we soon learned that being well received on the internet came along with the frustration of having to decline individual customers’ requests to buy online. This is why, in early summer 2011, we joined forces with Artur Bubman, who is our representative and an experienced retailer himself, to develop an on online shop, now turned into a reality. We understand this shop more like a brands’ boutique, offering a small selection of our products, unfiltered by a shop buyer’s taste or marketing conditions. It is a designer’s selection, in limited series; it is what we, as the ZONKEY BOOT makers, find most interesting. Though our offer emphasizes models for the current season, we intend to always keep some cross season models on the shelf.
